Community Sunrise Service

Say something interesting about your bu

Join with others from our community and a variety of denominations for a simple and exuberant worship service to celebrate in unity, "He is Risen!" The 6:30 am Easter sunrise service will be held at the outdoor Wilkes Communication Pavilion in downtown Wilkesboro. All are welcome!

Organizers: An interdenominational group of Wilkes County pastors (Baptist, Episcopalian, Methodist and Non-denominational) began discussing what it would look like to come together as Christians in a divided world. From this desire for tangible Christian unity came the idea for a Community Easter Sunrise Service which respects each Christian faith tradition and gives all glory to God.
